SportAI Raises $3M for AI Video Analysis

In November 2025, Oslo-based B2B sports technology company SportAI raised an oversubscribed $3 million funding round. The round saw participation from Norwegian investment fund Altitude Capital, global tennis star Casper Ruud, and Magnus Carlsen, the highest-ranked chess player of all time.

Founded by CEO Lauren Pedersen (former NCAA tennis player), CTO Felipe Longé, and Board Chairman Andreas Thome, SportAI provides an AI-powered video analysis platform. It uses computer vision and machine learning to generate technique breakdowns, match statistics, and tactical insights from any video source.

The company’s camera-agnostic technology democratizes access to professional-grade performance analysis, allowing players and coaches at all levels to receive objective feedback instantly without expensive hardware.

The new capital will be used to accelerate the company’s global rollout, deepen its technical capabilities across racket sports, and expand its team to meet growing demand from sports facilities and broadcasters.
