Portal26 Raises $9M for GenAI Security and Compliance

In November 2025, San Jose-based Portal26 raised $9 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Shasta Ventures, with participation from Fusion Fund.

Founded by CEO Arti Raman, Portal26 is building a security platform to help enterprises safely adopt Generative AI (GenAI).

The company’s core platform acts as a gateway that intercepts and inspects all employee prompts and large language model (LLM) responses. This allows it to enforce compliance, prevent data leakage (DLP), and block security threats in real-time.

The new capital will be used to accelerate its go-to-market strategy, expand its R&D team, and meet the rising enterprise demand for comprehensive GenAI security and governance solutions.
