Interface Raises $3.5M for AI Industrial Safety

In November 2025, San Francisco-based Interface raised $3.5 million in a Seed funding round. The round was led by Defy.vc, with participation from Precursor Ventures, Rock Yard Ventures, Entrepreneurs First, and Transpose Platform Management.

Founded by CEO Thomas Lee Young and CTO Aaryan Mehta, Interface is building an AI-driven operations platform designed to modernize how energy operators manage critical documentation and safety procedures.

The company’s platform acts as an operational safety layer, ensuring that procedures, manuals, and engineering diagrams are accurate, compliant, and instantly accessible to field teams, reducing administrative burden and improving safety in high-risk environments.

The new capital will be used to enhance its platform, expand customer reach across North America, and support deployment with major energy operators.
