Greenshoe Raises $3M for AI SEC Disclosure Automation
Chicago-based Greenshoe raises $3M in Seed funding led by AIX Ventures to scale its AI-native platform for SEC disclosure automation.

In November 2025, Chicago-based Greenshoe raised $3 million in a Seed funding round. The round was led by AIX Ventures, with participation from Hearst Level Up Ventures, Blueprint FTC, and Service Provider Capital.
Founded by CEO Payton McCoy and CTO Dr. Yi Zhang, Greenshoe is building an AI-native platform to automate and streamline the SEC disclosure process for public companies.
The company’s platform combines agentic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with domain-specific reasoning to help legal and compliance teams draft, review, and benchmark complex regulatory filings like 10-Ks and 8-Ks.
The new capital will be used to enhance its engineering capabilities, accelerate product development, and scale its go-to-market strategy to serve U.S. public companies.
