Deductive AI Raises $7.5M for AI Root Cause Analysis

In November 2025, Mountain View, CA-based Deductive AI formally launched with $7.5 million in Seed funding. The round was led by CRV, with participation from Databricks Ventures, Thomvest Ventures, and PrimeSet.

Led by CEO Rakesh Kothari and CTO Sameer Agarwal, Deductive AI is building a platform of AI SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) agents designed to guide incident response from detection to resolution.

The company’s AI agents connect to an organization’s code, logs, metrics, and event data. This allows them to reason on a knowledge graph that maps system relationships to test hypotheses and pinpoint precise root causes in seconds.

The new capital will be used to expand operations and accelerate its development efforts to build out its AI agent platform.
