Complir Raises €1.7M for Retail Compliance Automation

In December 2025, Copenhagen-based Complir raised €1.7 million in a Pre-Seed funding round. The round was led by Vendep Capital, with participation from Likeminded, Plug and Play, and F-Log Ventures.

Founded by CEO Gustav Bang, Complir is building AI-powered infrastructure to help retailers automate and manage global product compliance.

The company’s platform integrates product data from disparate systems to automate core compliance workflows, such as labelling, risk scoring, and regulatory monitoring. It uses AI agents to analyze supplier data and regulatory updates, ensuring retailers can launch products globally without manual paperwork.

The new capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand its AI capabilities, and scale its operations to help European retailers navigate complex global regulations.
