Robotic Window Cleaner Skyline Robotics Secures Additional $9.8 Million

Skyline Robotics, creators of Ozmo, the inaugural robotic window cleaner, today announced a successful $9.8 million Pre-Series A2 funding round, including SAFE Notes conversion of $3.35 million, closed earlier this year. The round was led by by Standard Skyline Holdings, with participation from Durst Ventures and a number of angel investors. With the latest extension, the startup’s total funding has reached $19.4 million.

The new capital will facilitate Ozmo’s deployment in NYC and London, as well as expand the R&D team to enhance Ozmo’s capabilities, and help establish Skyline’s new construction-focused division.

Skyline’s announcement aligns with its ongoing global expansion. The company recently formed a partnership with Principle Cleaning Services to introduce robotic window cleaner, Ozmo, in London. Additionally, Skyline has obtained pivotal patents in Japan and Singapore, supporting its ambition to deploy Ozmo in various international cities and skyscrapers.

Ozmo integrates AI, machine learning, computer vision, state-of-the-art robotics, and sensors. Their technology enables window cleaning up to three times faster than traditional methods, eliminating risks to human cleaners. Ozmo offers a smarter, quicker, safer, and cost-effective alternative to manual window washing, an industry pegged at $40 billion annually.

The startup was founded in 2017 by Avi Abadi and Yaron Schwarz.
