In December 2025, Italian HR tech startup Pack raised €5.8 million (approx. $6.3 million) in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Rialto VC, with participation from Acadian Ventures and prominent HR tech angel investors including David Clarke (former CTO of Workday) and Thomas Otter.
Founded by CEO Pietro Maria Picogna and CPO Giacomo Gentili, Pack is building an AI-native platform designed to help organizations map skills and mentor employees.
The company positions its technology as “Human Capital Intelligence.” It uses artificial intelligence to analyze employee skills and create personalized development paths, such as coaching and mentoring programs. Unlike traditional HR suites, Pack focuses on identifying skill gaps and directly linking employee growth to business KPIs through data-driven insights.
The new capital will be used to accelerate its AI product roadmap and expand its operations across key European markets, including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
