In December 2025, New York-based LizzyAI raised $5 million in a Seed funding round. The round was led by NEA, with participation from Speedinvest and Zero Prime Ventures.
Founded by CEO Yannis Niebelschuetz (previously co-founder of CoachHub) and CTO Pedro Cabrera, LizzyAI is building an autonomous AI interviewing agent designed to conduct voice-based interviews with candidates.
The company’s platform uses conversational AI to handle end-to-end screening, from technical assessments to soft skills evaluation, in real-time. Unlike simple chatbots, LizzyAI claims to adapt its questions dynamically based on candidate responses, providing recruiters with structured, objective scorecards to speed up hiring decisions.
The new capital will be used to expand its engineering team, deepen its R&D in voice AI agents, and accelerate its go-to-market strategy in the US and Europe.
