Infravision Raises $91M for Robotic Power Line Construction

In November 2025, Sydney-based Infravision raised $91 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by GIC, with participation from existing investors including Insight Partners and Khosla Ventures.

Founded by CEO Cameron Van Der Berg and Chris Cox, Infravision is developing an AI-powered robotics platform to modernize the construction and maintenance of power infrastructure, replacing dangerous, high-cost manual and helicopter-based methods.

The company’s “Aerial Robotics” system uses advanced drones and AI-driven mapping to deploy and string power lines, significantly accelerating grid construction and reducing risks for field crews.

The new capital will be used to scale its operations globally, with a significant focus on expanding its robotic fleet and customer base in North America to help upgrade aging power grid infrastructure.
