Gunzilla Games Integrates GUNZ Blockchain Into OpenSea Marketplace

Gunzilla Games revealed the native integration of its GUNZ blockchain with OpenSea, the leading peer-to-peer NFT marketplace. GUNZ is now the ninth blockchain to be natively supported by OpenSea, opening up new avenues for the trading of in-game items on a global scale.

The GUNZ blockchain, which operates on a custom Avalanche Subnet, is designed to empower AAA game developers with the tools necessary to create player-driven economies. It provides players with full ownership of in-game assets in the form of tradeable NFTs.

The integration with OpenSea is expected to offer a compliant and transparent platform for trading in-game items, effectively bridging the gap between traditional gaming and the burgeoning world of blockchain gaming. Players and OpenSea users will have the opportunity to trade NFT items from any game developed on the GUNZ platform, with the “GUN” token serving as the exclusive payment method.

Gunzilla Games’ flagship title, “Off The Grid,” a cyberpunk-style battle royale game is slated for release on major platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.

Vlad Korolov, CEO and Co-Founder of Gunzilla Games, envisions transforming the creation and exchange of value in digital worlds, with the support of OpenSea bringing the industry one step closer to a unified, player-driven economy across all games developed on the GUNZ blockchain.

Gunzilla Games recently announced a $30 million funding round, which included a $10 million strategic token round co-led by CoinFund and the Avalanche Foundation’s Blizzard Fund.
