San Francisco-based CodeAnt AI has secured $2 million in Seed funding to enhance its AI-driven code review platform. The round was led by Y Combinator, VitalStage Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures, with participation from DeVC, Transpose Platform, Entrepreneur First, and several angel investors.
Founded in 2023 by Amartya Jha and Chinmay Bharti, CodeAnt AI addresses the growing challenge of maintaining code quality in the era of AI-generated code. The platform integrates directly with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, providing real-time feedback on code quality and security across more than 30 programming languages. It offers one-click fixes for identified issues, reducing manual code review time and bugs by over 50%.
The company plans to utilize the new funding to expand its engineering and business development teams and to scale its platform to meet increasing demand. Currently, CodeAnt AI’s solution is employed by over 50 organizations, including Akasa Air, Cyient, Bureau, and KukuFM.
