Struck raises €2 million to simplify building compliance with AI

In November 2025, Berlin-based prop-tech startup Struck raised €2 million in Seed funding. The round was led by Germany’s High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with participation from several construction industry angel investors.

Founded by CEO Max van Riel and CTO Nikhil Nagaraj, Struck is building an AI platform to tackle the immense complexity of regulatory compliance in the construction and real estate sectors.

The company’s software automatically analyzes architectural plans and building designs, checking them against thousands of complex local and national building codes in real-time. This aims to save architects and engineers hundreds of hours and prevent costly errors.

The new capital will be used to further develop its AI engine to cover more regulatory jurisdictions and to accelerate its market entry across Germany, targeting architectural firms and property developers.
