Broswarm, a startup based in Vilnius, has raised $874,000 in a seed funding round. The investment was led by the Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN), Startup Wise Guys, and several undisclosed private investors.
Broswarm is focused on developing advanced technology for defensetech; mine detection. Their innovative approach utilizes swarms of autonomous drones equipped with sensors and artificial intelligence to identify and locate landmines. This technology is designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of mine clearance operations, addressing the critical global issue of landmine contamination which poses a threat to human lives and economic development in affected regions.
Specifically, it leverages artificial intelligence and sensor fusion techniques to create advanced sensory arrays. It’s capable of generating 3D visualizations from up to 10 meters.
The funding will primarily be used to refine their technology and expand their operational capabilities. The startup’s technology already promises a significant reduction the risks and costs associated with mine clearance.
The funding will be directed towards technological development and expanding Broswarm’s market presence.
