Healthy Mind, a Ukrainian startup specializing in psychological well-being solutions, has raised $1 million in investment. The funding supports the beta launch of its AI-powered mental health platform and aims to expand its capabilities further.
About Healthy Mind
Founded in 2023 by former Naftogaz executives Marina Kvasnina and Andriy Kobolyev, Healthy Mind offers a scientifically grounded solution for diagnosing mental health disorders. The platform screens users within 15-18 minutes, analyzing over 75 indicators to identify conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD, adhering to DSM-5 standards.
Healthy Mind also leverages an international psychological board to develop culturally adaptive surveys and therapy protocols, ensuring global applicability. With a team of 17 specialists, the company plans to launch an AI assistant for psychologists and a user-friendly AI helper in future iterations.
Investment and Future Plans
Healthy Mind’s funding comes primarily from Roosh Ventures, a Kyiv-based IT company. Over the next year, the startup plans to raise an additional $1 million to:
1. Expand its AI capabilities.
2. Enhance mental health accessibility for millions of Ukrainians.
3. Explore international markets while maintaining a strong focus on Ukraine.
The full product launch is set for 2025, with targeted solutions for corporate clients aiming to improve employee mental health.
CEO Maksym Rabinovych emphasized the urgent societal need for such innovations, especially given the war’s mental health toll on Ukrainians:
“Almost 10 million Ukrainians are facing mental health challenges due to the war. This platform addresses a critical gap in timely and scientifically sound mental health care.”
