AgiBot-backed Qiyuan prices home humanoids at about $3,000

The price puts a humanoid alongside a high-end phone or laptop, against 99,000 yuan (about $14,700) for Unitree's G1.

Qiyuan Robotics began selling two child-height robots on Sept. 20, the Q1 humanoid and the T1 transformable robot, at 19,999 yuan (about $3,000) for the basic versions, with orders shipping from Oct. 1.

The details

  • Higher-spec versions cost about 27,000 yuan for the Q1 and 29,900 yuan for the T1.
  • Qiyuan is the consumer brand of a Shanghai-listed materials company that AgiBot's founders took control of in 2025. AgiBot co-founder Peng Zhihui is its chairman.
  • Both robots are under one meter tall; Peng said the height came from visiting dozens of families.
  • The Q1 takes user-designed, 3D-printed shells generated from a reference image on Qiyuan's platform, which one report says no other humanoid in its class offers.

The catch

Consumer-grade embodied-AI products have shipped about 30,000 units in total, mostly as trials and corporate purchases, by one industry count. Qiyuan has since added limited-time purchase incentives.
