Empromptu Raises $2M for Internal Tools

In December 2025, the enterprise AI platform Empromptu emerged from stealth with $2 million in Pre-Seed funding. The round was led by Precursor Ventures, with participation from Graph Ventures, Eniac Ventures, and Silence VC.

The company is led by CEO Shanea Leven, a second-time founder whose previous company, CodeSee, was successfully acquired. She is joined by co-founder Sean Robinson.

Empromptu addresses the bottleneck in building secure, compliant software for employees. Instead of just searching for documents, Empromptu allows enterprises to build custom “Internal Tools” using natural language. These apps sit on top of fragmented data (Slack, Notion, Jira) and act as intelligent workflows, allowing teams to automate complex tasks and retrieve context-aware answers without hallucination risks.

The new capital will be used to launch the platform publicly and expand its no-code builder capabilities for enterprise clients.
