In November 2025, London-based robotics infrastructure startup Neuracore raised $3 million in a Pre-Seed funding round. The round was led by Earlybird Venture Capital, with participation from firstminute capital, Heracles Capital, and prominent angels including Clem Delangue (CEO of Hugging Face).
Founded by Stephen James, a Lecturer in Robot Learning at Imperial College London, Neuracore is building a cloud-native platform designed to serve as the “AWS for robotics.”
The company addresses a critical bottleneck in the industry: the lack of standardized infrastructure for training robot models. Neuracore provides a unified workflow that handles data management, visualization, and model training in the cloud. This allows robotics teams to move away from fragmented, custom-built tools and focus on deploying intelligent behaviors, significantly reducing the time-to-market for advanced robotic systems.
The new capital will be used to expand its engineering team, accelerate the development of its cloud platform, and support its initial rollout to robotics research labs and commercial manufacturers.
