Tutor Intelligence Raises $34M for AI Warehouse Robots

In December 2025, Boston-based Tutor Intelligence raised $34 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Union Square Ventures, with participation from Neo and Fundomo.

Founded by CEO Josh Gruenstein and Alon Kosowsky-Sachs, Tutor Intelligence creates AI-powered robot fleets designed to automate complex physical tasks in factories and warehouses.

The company’s technology combines custom hardware with advanced visual AI, enabling its robots (cobots) to handle high-variability tasks like kitting, feeding, and packing. Unlike traditional automation that requires rigid programming, Tutor’s robots learn from experience and can adapt to changing environments, allowing manufacturers to solve labor shortages in areas previously considered too difficult to automate.

The new capital will be used to scale its commercial fleet, expand its engineering team, and accelerate the deployment of its Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) solution across the US supply chain.
