Puya Rahimkhan on Simplifying AI Access and Privacy with ViewOn.Ai | Exclusive Interview

People need a smarter way to look at and compare AI tools as they become more popular. ViewOn.Ai makes this easier by combining several AI models into a single, easy-to-use tool. Co-founder Puya Rahimkhan talks about how the platform makes AI safer, easier to use, and more useful.

1. What inspired you to create ViewOn.Ai, and what challenges in the AI assistant ecosystem were you determined to solve?

Puya Rahimkhan: Friends who were interested but new to AI, told us they felt overwhelmed and unsure where to start, with the surge of AI Bots. We identified a need for a user-friendly hub where users could explore, compare, and optimize the potential of AI without having to switch between interfaces.

2. How does ViewOn.Ai integrate multiple AI assistants into one seamless platform? What unique challenges did this approach present?

Puya Rahimkhan: Integrating all these AI models into a single platform required a focus on design and technical infrastructure since each model has its own API and capabilities. The objective was to create a seamless interface that made using these technologies simple.

Furthermore, by giving customers the option to compare up to three models in real time within our BATTLE Function, we made the task of comparing multiple models more entertaining and efficient.

3. What sets ViewOn.Ai apart from other AI platforms currently on the market?

Puya Rahimkhan: There are a few platforms that aggregate AI tools, and we welcome the competition. But what sets us apart is our ambition to go beyond aggregation.

Additionally, ViewOn.Ai isn’t just about connecting users with AI models; it’s about building tools that empower them. Whether it’s our upcoming Social Media Analyser for Content Creators or upcoming API integrations with platforms like WordPress, our vision is to transform these models into tailored solutions that solve real-world problems.

Finally, unlike others, we have to strictly adhere to German data privacy standards. This is a major differentiator in an era where concerns over data misuse are at an all-time high. We’re in the process of moving all AI-Models on our own servers, located in Germany, which will help us take full control over data privacy.

4. ViewOn.Ai emphasizes user-friendliness and accessibility. How do you ensure a seamless experience for both first-time users and professionals?

Puya Rahimkhan: Simplicity is really important. For first-time users, we developed our interface so that they can explore AI models in a natural way. For Pros, we made sure the interface was intuitive while still powerful enough to accommodate more complicated workflows.

We engage with our community and make every effort to implement their feedback. Our goal is to strike a balance between accessibility and usability in order to present ViewOn.Ai as a tool for everyone, regardless of expertise level.

5. Can you share a real-world example where ViewOn.Ai significantly impacted a user’s workflow or project?

Puya Rahimkhan: One encouraging success story comes from a family content creator who was one of our first users.

She used ViewOn.Ai to optimise her approach to social media and leveraged our platform to refine her copywriting and analysing campaign data via .csv upload, to optimise her posting strategy.

She told us that she saw a 23% increase in engagement on her posts and significant time saved in planning her content calendar. Seeing how our platform boosts productivity like this is why we do what we do.

6. With the growing importance of data privacy, how does ViewOn.Ai handle security and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR?

Puya Rahimkhan: Unlike other sites, we do not sell user data. With ViewOn.Ai, you can explore the possibilities of AI with confidence, knowing that your data is secure.

From encryption to transparent data policies, we aim to create an architecture that prioritizes user trust.

Users upload sensitive documents, ask AI models to process personal queries, and generate content. This combined with financial data, if they use any type of Payment Plan is not ideal. When using our platform, these AI-Models can’t match this information back to individual users. It is linked back to us as an entity but cannot be traced back to the individual.

Once we have finished moving all AI models to our own servers – we will also be able to not let them use the input data to train their models, guaranteeing a further aspect of data privacy under German data protection.

7. How does the free plan with 30 daily views help onboard users, and what trends have you observed from this model?

Puya Rahimkhan: We decided to go with a Freemium Business Model.

All registered users receive a daily amount of so called “Views”, which is our token system. This allows them to experiment with our features, test the tools and understand the value we bring, without any commitment.

We’re currently in a phase where we focus on generating a strong user base. Off this we will be looking to convert a fraction into paying customers who have access to advanced features. So far this model has been a great driver for growth & engagement.

8. What’s next for ViewOn.Ai in terms of new features or integrations?

Puya Rahimkhan: We are just getting started.

There are plans to integrate with 3rd-Party systems such as Shopify and WordPress, which will make it even easier for customers to incorporate AI into their day-to-day operations. Additionally, we’re growing more built-in tools, such as the Image Studio or Social Media Analyzer and improving the BATTLE function to allow follow-up questions. We want to go beyond the aggregation of AI and create tools that expand current functionalities.

9. What have been the biggest challenges in scaling ViewOn.Ai, and how did you navigate them?

Puya Rahimkhan: Maintaining stability while integrating several AI models with different requirements to guarantee smooth operation was (and continues to be) one of the most difficult tasks.

User education was another difficulty. Especially for beginners, AI can be somewhat intimidating even with an intuitive design. Our goal is to empower users by introducing more tutorials and creating a community of support.

10. What does a typical day look like for you as the founder of ViewOn.Ai?

Puya Rahimkhan: Not one day is like the other. In general speaking there is a combination of strategy and practical work done every day.

Aligning with the team, going over feedback and testing new features are common morning activities. The afternoons are used for planning product launches and acquiring new customers. It’s really a dynamic and fast-paced environment!

11. Reflecting on your journey so far, is there a decision or moment you wish you had approached differently? What did you learn from it?

Puya Rahimkhan: Users need to not only feel secure but also understand why they can trust you. Early on, we underestimated how important it was to be vocal about that.

Also aligning our Social Media appearance from the beginning and keep posting content consistently is something we should have approached much earlier. Hiring someone with expertise or hunger in that area would have definitely helped to grow quicker in the beginning. We’ve just begun and are seeing the benefits of it. This definitely taught us the value of clear, consistent messaging from the get go.

12. Where do you see ViewOn.Ai in the next five years, and what role do you hope it will play in shaping AI’s future?

Puya Rahimkhan: Currently, it’s what it must have felt like back in the days of the Wild West; Everybody is digging for nuggets, hoping to make something off AI.

In five years, I see ViewOn.Ai as a central hub not just for accessing AI but for unlocking its full potential. We’ll be a platform where creators, businesses and developers come to innovate and thrive. Our focus on privacy and our commitment to developing built-in tools will keep us highly relevant within this exciting industry.
