- Governance: Just 21% manage AI risks effectively, especially regarding bias and data security.
- Data: 83% struggle with data access and accuracy, limiting model reliability.
- Talent: Only 35% feel confident in internal AI capabilities, due to training and hiring gaps.
- Technology: Just 9% have the tech stack to support scalable AI infrastructure.
Organizational Archetypes
Infosys defines four enterprise personas based on their AI journey:
- Ambitious Innovators: High investment, high risk tolerance.
- Cautious Explorers: Methodical, risk-averse adopters.
- Frustrated Mavericks: Innovation blocked by internal friction.
- Worried Conformists: Minimal AI activity, often siloed and unstructured.
Bridging Trust and Alignment
- Only 10% of companies feel ready to manage ethical, legal, and reputational risks tied to AI deployment.
- Fewer than 25% say their IT and business units collaborate effectively on AI initiatives.
