OurCrowd, Israel’s most active venture investor, announced that Yuval Illuz has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Illuz will serve as a key addition to OurCrowd’s leadership team and drive future growth to the platform’s almost quarter of a million global investor base and 460 portfolio companies.
Illuz brings a wealth of experience and expertise to OurCrowd with an extensive technology and business leadership background. His career includes notable roles including Operating Member and CTO at SC Ventures, a division of Standard Chartered Bank focused on innovation and disruptive financial technologies. Additionally, Yuval has served as Group CISO and COO for Trust, Data & Resilience at Standard Chartered, and as Executive General Manager and Chief Information Security & Trust Officer at Commonwealth Bank. He has also built successful startups as an entrepreneur and senior executive.
OurCrowd also announced that Josh Wolff, who led the company’s growth as Chief Operating Officer over the last nine years, has been newly named Chief Strategy Officer.

OurCrowd was recently named Israel’s most active investor in Israeli venture funding in H1 2024 by IVC-Gornitzky-KPMG, with 16 first-time startup investments. PitchBook data shows that OurCrowd has been Israel’s most active venture investor every year since 2013.
